pre-production log
Week 1
At the start of my pre-production practical I will come up with a story board. first i will have to think about what i want my one minute movie to be about. Once i have decided what it will be about then i can start to think about my story board
Week 2
Today i started my story board i went onto a website called https://www.storyboardthat.com/storyboard-creator here you can see that i not only created the story board but i have also added a comment as to what i want to happen when this scene is played.
Week 3
Today i booked out my equipment to start filming and i will be able to start filming next lesson
Week 4
Today i printed out the risk assessment, clearance sheets and my storyboard. I will have to fill these out before i start filming and get Carly to sign them to say she gives permission and she is aware of the risks.
Week 5
today we start filming and will probably get the first half filmed today. we started by filming Carly walking into six form and the walked over to the main college seating area after buying some chicken nuggets.. And then create a times laps of Carly eating the chicken nuggets
Week 6
Today we finished off the filming. We took some shots of Carly walking up the stairs and tried to show how she now struggles to do something as simple as walk up the stairs due to always eating chicken nuggets. We then also took some shots of Carly sat in a classroom that was empty ans had her telling us her story of what she had been through and how her nugg addiction started.
Week 7
This week i started at looking at the clips. i uploaded all of the clips to my d drive and started to sort through what clips are valuable and usable and what clips are no good.
Week 8
Once i knew what clips i was going to use i found what music i wanted to have running in the background the whole way through. Once i had my music i could start to put my film together by fitting what went well with the music.
Week 9
Once i had all my clips in place i started to add Carly's voice over and fitted it with some of the scenes that were appropriate to what she was saying.
Week 10
Finally i started to add my finishing touches to my film i started to color grade my film so i could give it the effect that it needed to give an effect on the viewers. I went for a comedic topic. so i chose to pic something serious and make a comedic twist on it . So for example instead of a drug addiction i chose a nugg addiction instead.
Week 11
Finally i could render my film and export it to youtube and upload my film. And finally my film was done.
